This is to inform you
of a Saddle Up event
to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Our goal in holding a fun event with horses to help the children of the world who are stricken with diseases like cancer, AIDS and sickle cell disease.
We will have a poker ride starting and ending at the camp. You will ride approx 6 ½ mile through some of the most breath taking trails in the area. You will be able to ride at your own pace and pick up the cards at different locations on the trail. Then bring them back to camp to see who has the best hand and win prizes. The cost for the poker ride is $20 which will go to St Jude’s. Then we will be painting our ponies (horse) to see who has the painted pony. This will cost $5.00 per horse and we will have the paint on hand. Again all the money raised will go to St Jude. We are also having a pot luck so bring your favorite dish (not cost) Last of all we will have a silent auction with money going again to St Jude’s. You can come for the day or stay the weekend at the camp. It looks like it going to be a fun day at camp.
Please help us help the children but getting the word out about our event. We can not do this with out your help!
